The St. Louis Arch
– out on tour these moments just fly by, and you hope you have a
camera handy to say, ‘Hey I really saw that, here’s a
picture…’
|

This was taken at the Bangor Mall in Maine (you see a lot of malls on
tour), on the ever-continuous hunt for acid-washed jeans and
accessories, another style I didn’t care about then and don’t care
about now. |

On
every road you drive down in Idaho, you will see horses and cows being
driven somewhere by cowboys and cowgirls. |

‘Hey, we’re in
Colorado now.’ Being on tour is like a real-life geography lesson. |

Every once in awhile
when you’re out on tour, your tour bus breaks down and you rent a
U-Haul. Steve is giving the peace sign, and the other set of legs up
in the corner is Troy. The funny part is, I took this photo in the
pitch dark, having no idea what the guys were doing or how it’d turn
out. |

This picture was
taken two minutes later by Steve and you probably sense my unhappiness
with the whole riding in the back of a truck thing. |
